Life is GREAT isn't it! We are having such a great time as a married couple! One week from tomorrow we will have been married for 3 years. Crazy huh? I am such a blessed girl to have such a wonderful husband. I honestly have no idea where I would be without him. I love him so much, and I'm so happy to be his wife! Justin makes me laugh every single day. Here is one of my favorite "Justin Funnies" for the week.
Justin and I decided to BBQ last Sunday. We've never cooked ribs before.... so we thought we would give it a try. I called my mom and she said that pork needs to be white to eat it.... no pink. So we cooked, and cooked, and cooked them.
And they turned out awesome, right! They looked beautiful, and tasted even better......
Except for one. It had alot of pink in the middle, so we decided to put it back on the grill. Justin had put the grill on high so that the extra stuff would burn off..... Not quite thinking about that little detail, we put the ribs back on for a few minutes. Justin went out to get the ribs and came back in with this look on his face. Showed me the ribs...
Then told me to go look behind the BBQ.... This is what I saw....

Yup, your right that's our siding stickin out there.... The BBQ just happened to be a little too close to the house, and totally melted our siding! Luckily, we had a few extra pieces the people that sided the house left, so its all fixed now! It was pretty funny though!
On Monday... I GOT A PIANO! No its not new, No its not perfect, but YES, Its MINE! I haven't been so excited about something in a really really long time! It's been stored in a feed shed, so it was really really dirty, but after at least 8 hours of cleaning it...

It now looks like THIS!
Not too bad for FREE huh? Its a little beat up, needs tuned, and the inside needs cleaned... But for the most part it works, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE It! Its been so nice to have a REAL Piano to practice and play on!
We have also been working on the yard... Inbetween crazy spring storms, sticking snow, and COLD wind! Thanks to Brady, we were able to get our well dug. We were a little worried about putting all this money into a surface well, and having it produce no water, but we have 6 feet of water thus far... so hopefully it will continue to work "well" for us!
This hole doesn't look too deep in this pic, but it's about 14 feet deep. It was pretty dark by the time we got the pipe put in there so we didn't get any pictures of it, but it seems to be doin its job! We are hoping that it will work good enough to water our lawn that we are getting.... In JUNE!
Now that we have the well dug, we are getting the sprinkler system done. The 1 weekend that we could actually rent the trencher we needed, we woke up to snow. So, we pulled out the ol' long underwear, long sleeved shirts, hoodies, and carharts and got to work. The trencher got stuck once... thanks to the awesome mud the snow left! We got the lines painted, and trenches dug. Our yard still looks like this because we weren't able to put down the poly pipe since the weather wouldn't cooperate.

We are hoping that the weather will cooperate a little better for us this week so we can get a few more things done in the yard. I have the brick that needs put up around the house for the flower bed, and get the pipe down for the sprinkler system.... Guess we will wait and see!
