Ramblings

After a good hour of blog hopping today (I believe I am 100% justified in spending ALL morning on the computer.... Justin ordered a game, and being the good wife I am... I looked to see where it was at today. That lovely word "Delivered" means he will be on the computer all night), I decided to post some pictures of things that make me tick.... I have fallen in love with things that people have done in their homes, and decided that someday.... this will be my house...... In other words, Its just some eye candy for me and for you for now.

I don't have the blog that I found this picture on. But we have a table we need to redo
I love this color, and the white that accents it!

Love the bathtub... pardon the nakedness, I just loved the tub. We have a tub similar
and I think that the tile would add so much.  (blog unknown, sorry!)

Another picture I saved a long time ago. I love how they used this board instead of pegboard.
(Blog unknown, sorry!)

I saved this on a long time ago. I'm trying to convince Justin to put crown molding around our fireplace to make it look like this. (unknown blog... sorry)
I also decided that i would have to have and die if I don't get, that I really need this piece of equipment... After all... My birthday is coming up....
ok... Now I'd better really get ready for work...

Update... Nothing to spectacular

Well, I'm really starting to understand the benefits of having a 24 inch computer screen... I can watch my shows on ABC, and blog at the same time :) What a win win!!! Its been so nice to have the holdiays over! On a happy note we have been able to go and play cards, clean the house, watch movies, and start new projects. On a sadder one, I got released as Primary Choister. It was a sad day, but I love the replacement, and I think she will do a great job! I don't know what's going to happen to Justin when I don't break out into song every minute of the day, but I suppose we will get through :)lol. I am pretty sad, but I have my other 2 callings that will still keep me plenty busy.
I have been able to start (and finish) a few projects that I have wanted/needed to do. I finished a puzzle, for the first time EVER in our house. Usually it stays up for a few weeks, then gets put away unfinished. But as I did the puzzle, I finished another "so called project". Felicity, the series. Such an awesome show! If you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend it! I recovered my FAMILY blocks, good old scrapbook paper and modge podge, and I am also in the process of finishing a frame (I'll post pics of everything later). I've also been reading a few books on my kindle I got for Christmas. Right now I'm in the process of  "the girl with the dragonfly tatoo". Speaking of Kindle, I have a question to like the 3 people that read this blog.... Does anybody have a kindle? And if you do, do you have any problems with it? I have one little issue that is bugging me. Sometimes I'll be reading, and it will restart itsself and loose my page. Just on the book I'm currently reading though. I'm going to restore factory settings on it to see if it will fix the problem, but I was just wondering if anyone else has that problem?
Well, I think I'm done posting for the night. As soon as I download my camera drivers on this computer, I will post pics of some of my projects. Night!

OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW

Well, you know its been a long time since blogging when you can't quite remember your password...Life is been hectic for us, but hey I think its been busy for everyone. So even though I should be busy cleaning or running errands right now, I sit here today... procrastinating.  I have loved having the week between Christmas and New Years off, but it makes it hard for me to want to get off my butt and go to work. And since its the New Year, a goal I have is to be there EARLIER. So that means making myself get off this computer even a little faster!

The Holidays were good to us. Lots of good food (which means tight pants and rolls), family, fun, and most of all the opportunity to celebrate our Savior's birth. I have been thinking alot the past few weeks of how blessed Justin and I are. We are by no means rich or famous, but we have the things that we need. A beautiful home, a warm bed, clothes, food, wonderful jobs, family, friends, callings in the church, and the opportunity to be sealed to one another for eternity. I look at that list and just think "wow how lucky are we?". I thank my Heavenly Father every day for all the blessings that he gives to us.

Christmas eve was spent with both of our families. We had the opportunity to run to Rock Springs for a movie, and to visit my Grandma, with the Webbs, Then ran  home and changed into some warm clothes for Justin's Family's Christmas party. We went caroling this year on a trailer pulled by his grandpas truck, and dang was it cold! I don't think our fingers ever warmed up that night! After the party we went to Celeste and Jim's to open presents. Its so fun to watch the kids. It makes Christmas for us :)

Christmas was celebrated with just the two of us in the morning. Yes we hope for kiddos to be joining us for next years Christmas, but it was nice to be the two of us this year. (No this is not an announcement dang it all). Justin and I were as spoiled as ever! I'm typing on our new computer... Our old one had issues and is now at my parents house ready to be wiped out and started all over again. Justin got games for the computer and I have to fight for the chance to get on once in awhile (thank heavens we should be getting the old one back soon so I can at least get on the internet once in awhile.) Then we were able to go over to my parents and watch the kids open their presents and eat some Christmas breakfast complete with hot chocolate, eggs, and cinnanmon rolls! The rest of the day was pretty relaxing.

We were able to bring in the New Year with Justin's family. There was again of course, LOTS of food (which included sushi which none of us liked (GAG)), lots of games, and lots of time to talk. We brought in the new year with sparkling cider and kisses as all couples do, and went home and went to bed! We have been so greatful for 11:00 church this year so we could sleep in a little bit and catch up from all the festivities of the past few months!

Well this was our end to 2010, and the beginning to 2011. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Lets bring on the new year!
